Listnr’s Prompt to Video AI tool turns a written video brief into a generation request for an editable Studio project. Describe the subject, setting, visible action, camera direction, mood, and intended outcome, then choose how the visuals, format, voice, music, and captions should be handled. The result is a project to review and refine, not a guarantee that one prompt will produce a perfect final cut without edits.

Start with a text prompt that explains what should happen on screen. Before generating, choose an aspect ratio and media type, set any available visual style or video-quality option, and configure voice, music, captions, B-roll, and target duration. You can add multiple image or video uploads; each file must be an image or video no larger than 26 MB, and uploads must finish before generation. The prompt card also includes an optional web-search toggle for prompt assistance. This flow does not advertise PDF, audio, or URL input.

For a closer match, make the prompt observable and specific: name the subject, setting, time or lighting, visible action, camera or framing, colors, mood, pace, visual style, and ending. Break a longer idea into ordered beats and say what should stay consistent across scenes. Concrete directions give the scene plan more to work with, but generated media is variable, so review the result and refine the prompt when an important detail is missing.

The available media choices are Stock videos, Moving AI images, AI video, Your own media, Static / Gameplay, and Motion graphics. Motion graphics and Static / Gameplay are currently shown as coming soon in the create flow, so they are not selectable for generation. AI modes create visuals from the prompt, stock uses library footage, and Your own media accepts multiple uploaded images or videos. Use the provided-media controls when you want uploads to replace or guide generated and stock visuals.

Voiceover and music are separate choices in the finishing controls. Select an available voice for narration; choose a stock-catalog track, upload an audio track, preserve source audio when that mode is available, or choose no music. Captions can stay on while you set a preset, language, and placement, and music can be ducked under narration. The current Prompt to Video controls do not expose a separate sound-effects track, so do not assume a prompt alone will add a specific SFX layer.

Portrait 9:16 is the default output. You can select Landscape 16:9, Square 1:1, or Feed 4:5 before generation, with guidance for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts, YouTube or presentations, Instagram and feed posts, and Instagram or Facebook feeds respectively. The chosen ratio is passed into the generation request; uploaded media may need Smart crop to fit the frame, and the prompt still needs to account for composition.

Listnr does not promise one fixed generation time. The job can take longer or shorter depending on the prompt and target duration, selected media mode and quality, uploaded files, and current service availability. Wait until uploads finish before starting. After you submit, the Videos page shows the generation status and hands the project to Studio when it reaches the editable state.

Prompt to Video does not have one universal amount for every project. The create screen shows a duration-based usage estimate while you configure the request, but that estimate is not a universal amount for every media choice or plan. Your current Listnr plan and selected request settings are the source of truth, so review them in Studio before starting. This FAQ does not promise a complimentary allowance or publish a fixed usage total.

Yes. The generation flow sends the project to Studio so you can continue working after the initial result is ready. Depending on the project and selected controls, you can revise scene direction and timing, change voice or music choices, adjust captions and their preset, language, or placement, and review the visual result before export. The exact controls available can vary with the media source.

It works best for concept films, visual explainers, product stories, educational shorts, social clips, and character-led scenes where the important result can be described in concrete visual beats. It is a good fit for a prompt-first draft that you expect to review. It is less suitable when you need verified factual footage, exact identity or continuity, or a fully specified sound-effects mix without checking and editing the generated result.

Describe what the viewer should see rather than only naming a theme. Be specific about the subject’s appearance, setting, action, shot size or camera movement, lighting, colors, mood, pace, visual treatment, and the order of important beats. Add constraints such as what must not appear when they matter, then compare the result with the prompt and revise the affected scene or direction. Detail improves guidance, but it cannot guarantee pixel-perfect output.

Yes. Prompt to Video is the focused prompt-first workflow: you describe a visual idea and configure media, format, voice, music, and captions around it. AI Movie Maker is a separate, broader movie-oriented tool that accepts text or URLs. It is currently marked Coming soon, so the two tools do not share a live workflow or identical controls.

Choose the aspect ratio and finishing settings for the destination, then continue to the editable Studio project and use the sharing or export controls available there. Portrait is suited to TikTok, Reels, and Shorts; landscape to YouTube or presentations; square and feed formats suit common social posts. You are responsible for having permission to use uploaded media, stock footage, music, voices, logos, and people in the places where you publish; Listnr’s tool cannot grant those rights.
